What do you really want?

What if you knew exactly how to handle any stress that comes up in the course of an average day at work, at home, or in life in general? Take a moment to think what it would be like to wake up every morning knowing you’ll handle every situation with calm confidence.

What if you knew there was a way to eliminate those annoying self-judging voices in your head; the ones that softly whisper “I’m not good enough”, “I just don’t have what it takes” or “nothing good ever happens to me”? Whether it’s the voice of the inner critic or a tendency to compare yourself unfavorably to others, imagine what would be different for you if you could experience true peace of mind—voices and constant comparisons gone forever!

What if you knew that having what you want out of life were as easy as simply deciding what you really want, and then just going about the business of achieving it? What would change for you if you really believed it could be that easy?

Maybe you don’t struggle with negative self-talk and you’re pretty confident you can handle stress just fine, but there’s one area of your life in which you feel unsuccessful. What do you complain about most often, finding the perfect life partner? A better job? More fulfilling relationships with the people you care about? Maybe you’ve read all the books, done all the research and consulted all the experts but still come up empty-handed.

If you’re feeling unfulfilled or unsuccessful, you’re not living as high potential a life as you possibly could be. You’re riding in the passenger’s seat when you could be behind the wheel in full control of your destiny. Imagine what it would be like for you to be able to create success in every aspect of your life!

It starts with the simple question, “what do I really want?” This may be challenging at first. Most people don’t 1) ask themselves the question;  2) believe they deserve to have what they want; or 3) think that what they want is achievable.

Take some time to dream a little. What feelings do you want to feel every day, and what would have to change in your life in order to feel them?

Know this: there’s no upper limit on happiness and fulfillment. You can live a powerful, high potential life in which you experience sustained joy, peace, happiness and wisdom every day if you learn and master how to tap into your most valuable inner resource: your energy.
